How To Use Your Modem with All Networks (Unlocking)

If you have a modem (MTN, Airtel, Etisalat etc), you may have noticed that you cannot use it on any other network apart from the branded network.

 This tutorial will teach you how to use your modem on all networks. This process is referred to as ''Unlocking''.

To unlock any modem, you need the Universal Master Code software.
This software is available for free.

Use this link to download the software for free.

• When you get your Universal Mater Code software, open it and a
pop-up window as shown below will appear.



• Insert the IMEI code (written on the modem or on the back of the
modem) space provided, then click on CALCULATE.

• Write out the code that appears on the UNLOCK text box.

• Insert a different sim card than the one that comes with the
modem.For e.g,  if it is an MTN modem, insert an AIRTEL or
ETISALAT simcard or vice versa and then connect to the system.

•On loading, a request for unlock code would be requested.
•When that happens, insert that unlock code which you have written down
before.
• There you have your modem unlocked for any simcard. ENJOY!!!
